The construction of this organ started in 2003 by the company Johnny Verbeeck in St. Job in 't Goor in Belgium. It will become a multifunctional organ, that will be deployed for concerts along with the Victory. The Locomotion is a very compact organ. It can be placed in our truck and will be able to play directly from the loading arm. A special trailer for this organ is also being developed, equipped with a special loading and unloading system. It will be possible to let the organ play directly from the trailer, but it can also be unloaded quickly and set-up to play somewhere inside a building. A unique feature of the Locomotion is that it is equipped with all the necessary street organ registers like a violin, undamaris, bourdon, cellest and a cello. Next to that the organ also has all dance organ registers like Jazz flute, piston, banton and wooden zylophone. Also unique is that the sound level of this organ, can, just as with the Victory, be adjusted to match the environment. The repertoire will, just as with all of our organs, be very big. This
organ will be controlled in a conventional way, with hole-punched
cardboard books, but this can also be done digitally. Of course, operating
it by hand will remain possible too.
